I have been in various hospitals in my life and this one with out dought is the best every member of staff is fantastic and has time for you.

Aftercare was awful I had a temperature of 40 degrees and felt horrendous and was told to take paracetamol and go home, if I wasn’t happy to go to A&E, eventually Hokeysuckle said I could go to the ward and it turned out I had an infection. There are other things as well but the aftercare was so poor.

Mothers should be cared for my baby was admitted to rainforest I needed antibiotics and was told at 11pm to go to Cromwell road or a&e we were in for a week and my baby is breast fed so we couldn’t leave. Luckily a dr in a&e came to help me but if it was a choice between leaving my baby or me getting the medicine I needed I would have stayed with my baby but my infection could have turned to sepsis.

Dr Issac’s was a very good consultant and the midwife on holly ward called Karen was absolutely brilliant so was Shelly both amazing midwife’s kept me really calm and did everything they could Karen sat with me most of her 12 1/2 hour shift to monitor baby and make sure everything was okay

I feel that the consultants should have listened to the midwife sooner about stepping in as I ended up in an emergency category 1 c section and it was very stressful for myself, the care received during was brilliant and very quick my scars a really nice scar however I feel the consultants should’ve stepped in sooner

A very good around experience. Ward staff caring, considerate and hard working. Medical staff first class.
